WHO WE ARE...

DEDICATED...

JWC members devote their time and talents to improving life in our Portage County community. We believe that our volunteering makes a positive difference in others' lives, whether we are on the giving or receiving end.

FOCUSED...
Our emphasis on community service is focused in six areas:  Arts, Education, Conservation, Home Life, Public Affairs, and International Affairs.  Our Club's particular interest lies in issues concerning women and children.

CONNECTED...
Our club is affiliated with the General Federation of Women's Clubs, one of the world's oldest and largest women's service organizations.  This connection provides us with the support of a respected service organization and the knowledge that we are part of a worldwide commitement to improving life through our local actions.

DIVERSE...
Women in the Stevens Point Junior Woman's club come from a large variety of backgrounds--married or single, working in the home or out of the home, with young children, grown children or no children, from age 25-55 and beyond, from all over Central Wiscosnin--Stevens Point, Plover, Rosholt, Whiting, Wisconsin Rapids--all unified by a desire to make a difference in our community.
